Amazing what 24 hours does.
Anyway, the AC report. One of the best I've had in years. I know a couple people that got screwed up and/or screwed over, but for me this honestly was a great con. Got there Thursday and checked in with the Dorsai to get my badge and my shirt. Didn't actually get the shirt until Thursday, but ohwell. Thursday was spent getting my crud together. Thursday was spent me re-learning the hotel and convention center layouts. Lots of walking around, which was cool since I didn't get into the gym at all. Did the normal staff meeting in the evening, and mostly just messed around.
Friday started the pain. Lets of getting shit done, which is cool. Makes me feel good. Got to see Panther, Luci and Fangs, which was cool. Got to see a lot of them over the weekend, which was nice. Also got re-introduced to Majik/Jodi. She's cool and a fun person to abuse people with. Got to see Midori and Jil (didn't know she was a Murdoch [note the h and not a k].
Saturday was filled with love, luck, and lollipops. Saturday was the real fun. The morning was filled with masq rehearsals, followed by the parade (from one red shirt [Gold's Gym] to another [Dorsai]), with a quick lunch and the charity auction. The charity auction needs to have something done so it's not butted up against so much other stuff. The elevator situation was eh on Thursday and by Friday it was hell. I think I walked up to the 10th floor at least five times on Friday, and another six or seven times on Saturday. The Masq was it's normal fun and entertaining ride into hell. It went MUCH smoother this year for us then normal. I have theories on why, but I wont say anything until I have facts. Needless to say, I am much happier. Stahi helps a LOT with the stage and knows pretty well how to handle the crowd. I'm not a stage guy unless I want to be, and the masq isn't a stage I want to do anything on besides my job. We do need to make sure that the stage entrance is a touch more opened up, but honestly I think it worked fine. I'd prefer the damned screen they use for the stairs going up to be higher up. I did have lunch with Catnel and her family, which was very cool.
Sunday rocked because I didn't have shit to do besides on shift for the Dorsai. I love working cons, but it's nice to have downtime. Otherwise, just a LOT of relaxing.

Some shit has come up that is out of my control and my money reserves are now cut in half, maybe less all things considered. If you owe me money, please pay me back ASAP. I cannot lend anymore money out and I need all money I can get my hands on. I am going to start looking for a second job again in order to make money in order to pay down debt as quickly as possible. If anyone knows of any good weekend or night contract work, let me know. Starting the 14th, I am going to be looking for a second job to take up the days I don't work at GeoEye since I will be working 12 hours night shifts.

OK, bathroom is clean. Cleaner then a bathroom probably should be, but I'm not taking any chances. Getting my shit together for AC. Half dozen loads of laundry done. I think it's time I finally admitted it. WoW sucks. I think I'm going to play for another month or so and then quit. I doubt seriously Wrath will be worth my time, I know I wont get much if any enjoyment out of it.
Went and saw the Incredible Hulk on Friday with Gretch, Scooty, Barky Marky, and OhHenry. It's worth watching, it's a good movie. It's like make-up sex with your girlfriend after a major fight when you compare it to the first movie.
You can tell Edward Norton is a fan of the comics. Lou Ferrigno is in the movie in two very cool ways. Bill Bixby is in the movie as well, which is cool. You'll see and love it.
So, probably in August I'm going to start sanding and painting my kitchen cabinets. I'm gonna go with a shade of white that I like. It's not "Jesus coming back" white, but it's a nice neutral white. I'm thinking about putting molding on the doors to spruce them up a touch, figure what the hell.
